ELCHK, Shatin Rotary Club Community Information Technology College
Introduction
The college was
established in November, 2001. The curriculum design, teaching approach, and
tutor recruitment all match with the needs of the elderly. Our computer courses
are well-received by our elders. As our services are widely recognised by the
industry, the academy has received funding from the Hong Kong Digital
Solidarity Fund in 2005 and 2008 respectively. We also received funding
from the OGCIO to carry out the "digital elder tribe" scheme. In
response to the Government's Digital Strategy in 2009, the centre has become
one of the district cyber alliance centres.
