Introduction
Since 2002, our center has been providing a range of community support services at the neighborhood level, organizing various cultural and recreational activities to meet the physical, mental, social, and personal care needs of different types of elderly individuals.
Service Objectives
Our center is dedicated to helping the elderly age in place within the community, living healthy, respected, and dignified lives. At the same time, the center encourages the elderly to actively participate in community activities, utilizing their life experiences, knowledge, and skills to contribute to society. Additionally, the center promotes collaboration among residents of the Ma On Shan district to build a community that cares for the elderly.

Health Education and Promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle
Assisting the elderly in establishing a positive attitude towards life to prevent diseases and improve family and interpersonal relationships.

Educational and Personal Development Activities
Providing diversified education to help the elderly keep up with the times, learn new knowledge, and achieve the goal of lifelong learning and being productive in old age.

Social and Recreational Activities
Offering various social and recreational activities to encourage the elderly to participate more in community activities, maintaining their activity levels.

Volunteer and Involvement of Elderly Members in Center Operations
Encouraging the elderly to participate in volunteer work, making their later years more meaningful. This allows them to experience an active retirement, continue contributing their life experience, knowledge, and skills to the community, and enhance their sense of belonging.

Community Information Dissemination and Referral Services
Providing community resource information and appropriate referrals to increase the understanding of social welfare policies among the elderly, caregivers, and community members, helping them better utilize resources and enjoy community facilities.

Drop-in Services
Offering a comfortable place for rest and regularly organizing various beneficial activities to encourage the elderly to make good use of their leisure time, participate more in center activities, and stay engaged with social affairs.

Services for Isolated Elderly
Actively identifying and reaching out to vulnerable elderly individuals, especially those who are isolated and lack community support, to provide necessary services.

Counseling Services
Offering individual and group counseling to help the elderly resolve personal emotional issues, interpersonal relationships, housing, economic problems, and other life challenges.

Carer / Caregiver Support Services
Providing carers/caregivers with reference materials, rehabilitation equipment, and emotional support, ensuring they have the resources and skills needed to care for frail elderly family members comfortably.

Dementia Services
Conducting assessments for elderly individuals suspected of having dementia and providing service consultations and cognitive training.
Membership Application
Fees
- Gold Card Members (60 years or older): $30 per year
- Silver Card Members (50-59 years): Free, and
- Carer/Caregiver Membership: Free

Visit our center in person with identification documents and membership fees
during office hours.
Member Benefits
Enjoy all the facilities, activities, programmes and services offered by the center.
Withdrawal
Service users can voluntarily withdraw any services or membership from our center. If members wish to withdraw during the valid membership period, they must return their membership card in person or through a family member at the center. If a service user no longer meets the eligibility criteria or exhibits inappropriate behavior, the center reserves the right to terminate the services provided.
Important Notes
If a service user causes harassment, danger, or willful damage to the center's property or staff, the center reserves the right to request the service user to terminate and withdraw from the services.
