Tuen Mun West Day Care Centre for the Elderly has planned and piloted to provide elderly daycare services since 1999, with wide recognition from both elders and carers. Later in 2000, the centre was officially established at our current address.

Service Objectives
Our centre provides care services to elders based on the spirit of ‘community care’. We seek to provide a safe and comfortable environment, and give professional day care services in order to relieve the pressure of family carers. The centre offers a variety of social and leisure activities to facilitate physical and mental health of elders; allowing them to maintain contact with the community and lead a communal and harmonious life.
 
Target Groups
• Elders who do not have anyone to take care of during daytime
• Elders without infectious disease
• Ambulatory elders
• Elders with impaired body function
• Alzheimer's disease patients

Centre Facilities
Spacious activity area, physiotherapy area, TV, karaoke, mahjong, X-Box 360 game, rehabilitation equipment including: exercise bikes, hand rope, training stairs, walking machine, ultrasonic machines., etc.

服務內容

中心團隊由跨專業同工組成，包括註冊／登記護士、一級物理/職業治療師、資深社工及資深保健員等，定期為長者作評估及設計人照顧計劃，並定期作出檢討，中心亦設有復康訓練專區及認佑障礙症專區作專門訓練，務求全面照顧長者及家屬的需要。

退出服務

長者如終止服務，須於十四個工作天前通知中心職員。
