Shan King Care & Attention Home for the Elderly has transformed into an elderly nursing home in 1993. In 1999, it increased its places to 150 in response to the change of physical fitness of elders.

Service Districts
Eligible elders in Kowloon, Hong Kong and Islands.

Services Objectives:
Our services cater for the special needs of elders with the following objectives:
-providing comprehensive health, social, psychological and spiritual cares
-providing 24-hour accommodation, meals, personal care, nursing services, social activities, individual counselling and  religious services

Target Groups
•aged 65 or above (persons aged between 60 and 64 may apply if there is a
proven need for residential care based on health and/or social factors, provided that they meet the admission criteria)
•Elders who are assessed as suitable for admission by the
‘Standardized Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services ’
•Elders who require assistance in personal care and daily activities due to poor health or suffering from functional disabilities
•Elders who are able to move around with the help of walking aids or wheelchairs
•Elders who do not have family members for providing necessary assistance, or causing great stress to the family carers.
•Elders who are mentally suitable for communal living

Four-bed dormitory, lobby, exercise room, sensory therapy room, reminiscence court, sitting room, living room, canteen, medical room, treatment room, pharmacy, infection control room, large kitchen, large laundry room

• 每月費用：$2,060

申請手續
方法一： 申請人可向各區綜合家庭服務中心/綜合服務中心、醫務社會服務部、長者地區中心、長者鄰舍中心/長者活動中心等服務單位提出申請長期護理服務。個案工作員會按需要轉介申請人接受統一評估，並根據服務建議編配或輪候所需服務，若評估結果顯示有護理需要(即身體機能達中度或嚴重缺損)，申請人會被納入中央輪候冊內，輪候合適服務。當輪候到本院宿位後，申請人須接受本院安排約見，本會職員會按社署規定的評估標準作申請審核。

院友福利

• 入住後享用院舍內各項設施及服務，另設陪外出、針灸等收費服務；
• 4人共住房間的設備；
• 每日有早、午、下午茶及晚餐膳食供應；
• 護理服務，包括藥物服用及監管；
• 全日24小時專業/護理人員照護服務；
• 醫院醫生及到訪醫生到診服務；
• 日常起居照顧服務；
• 復康及治療運動，以保持及改善身體機能；
• 定期參與社交康樂及治療性小組活動/服務；
• 社工輔導及轉介服務。

退會手續
長者如欲退出住院服務，可於至少一個月前以書面向院舍申請。
