Our centre was established in1 Jan, 1995. We have drawn together our existing resources from youth service centres, outreach and school social workers in Tin Shui Wai. We strive to provide comprehensive and diversified services to the children and youths there.

Service Objectives

-To care about the children and youths in the community by providing learning opportunities that can facilitate their growth;
-To assist youths to develop positive outlook of life, enhancing their interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and the ability to cope with different situations;
-To help youths to understand the society and participate in community services;
-To provide services to the disadvantaged and youths in less favorable situations;
-To motivate parents, schools and groups to care for the needs of our youngsters, and together building a desirable environment for their growth.

Target Groups

Children and youths aged 6 –30 and their families who are living or studying in Tin Yiu Estate, Tin Tsz Estate, Tin Yau Court, Tin Lai Court, Tin Shing Court, Kingswood Villas and nearby districts.

中心服務

• 圖書館：備有書籍、報章、雜誌，供區內人士使用。
• 開心樂園：讓會員免費借用各類玩具及康樂用品。
• 培育活動：提供各類有益身心的兒童、青少年及家庭小組及活動，並設有各類學習小組及興趣班，以供區內人士選擇
  
  

駐校服務

本中心提供駐校服務予區內中小學，包括元朗信義中學，裘錦秋中學(元朗)、東華三院郭一葦中學、潮陽百欣小學及元朗朗屏惠州學校。

社區計劃

因應社區需要而推行特別服務計劃，如「Go Go Goal 」兒童獎勵計劃、ENGAGE、「舞動正能量」計劃、「義常精彩」青少年才藝發展計劃、「修身．齊家」計劃(元朗)、彩虹行動等等，以配合社區人士的需要。

計劃簡介

「Go Go Goal 」兒童獎勵計劃

為鼓勵兒童發展才華及培育良好品格，本中心特別設計以「品格培育」為主軸，著重家長參與的「Go Go Goal兒童獎勵計劃」。除發展兒童潛能、擴闊視野、培育多元智能外，本年度更新加入逆境自強系列，以加強兒童的自我照顧及抗逆力。並在小組及活動中融入「品德四元素」，包括「誠信」、「責任」、「感恩」及「尊重」，培育兒童提昇品德，齊齊做個積極好兒童！

計劃內容包括：

1. 發展潛能核心活動 推動兒童之自我發展，發掘自我潛能，從而促進兒童提昇其品德培養。當中內容包括「才能發展」、「成展支援」及「逆境自強」及「擴闊視野」。
2.親職教育核心活動 促進家長參與兒童的品格培養，並提昇家長在家庭推行品格教育的技巧，藉以加強與家長的聯繫。
3. 興趣技能單元小組活動 培養兒童之各項技能及興趣，藉以發展兒童之多元智能。
