The Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service – Hong Kong (ELCSS-HK) continues to provide comprehensive support following the Wan Fuk Court fire in Tai Po. Beyond assisting affected children, youth, elders, and families, we also focus on the community’s holistic recovery — addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and helping residents rebuild stability and confidence after the disaster.
All donations are used entirely for direct support, with no administrative costs deducted. Guided by the spirit of being “One in Heart, Walking Together in Hope,” we stand alongside residents to face life’s challenges together.
Support covers a wide range of essential services, including counselling, temporary housing expenses, student uniforms and books, after-school care, elderly care, medical escort services, and community activities. For families moving into transitional housing, assistance also includes relocation and living support, emotional care, and traditional Chinese medical consultations, helping them gradually regain stability, and hope in their daily lives.
We sincerely invites everyone to participate in supporting efforts through donations to help affected residents rebuild their lives as quickly as possible.
