School Social Work Service was established in 1981 and is now serving 4 schools in the New Territories. We design and provide professional social work services for them according to their respective needs.

Service Objectives
1. Helping students to develop potentials, achieving healthy growth, and to receive adequate and proper school education, building harmonious family and interpersonal relationships, and encouraging students to care for our society.
2. Helping students to solve individual, family, interpersonal and academic problems.
3. Enhancing connections between students, parents, schools and communities.

Target Groups
Social workers provide consultation, individual counselling, groups and others developmental activities for students, parents and teachers as well as lining up related community recourses for schools.

服務內容

透過學校社工每星期的駐校時間，向學生和家長提供以下服務：

1. 個案輔導
透過面談、家訪、學校聯繫，協助學生克服在情緒、社交、家庭與學業方面遇到的困難，並於有需要時轉介給有關的專業服務。

2.小組及活動
透過不同形式的活動，幫助學生了解自我、發揮潛能及解決成長中的困難。例如：舉辦人際關係小組、治療小組、領袖訓練課程、性教育講座、精神健康講座、朋輩輔導計劃等。

3. 諮詢服務
為學生、老師或家長，提供資料及意見。有需要時，參與校內的會議，如家長教師會、學生組織及教職員會議等，提供專業意見。

4. 協調及引進校外資源
透過引進社會資源，例如：青少年綜合服務中心、精神健康綜合社區中心  等，加強學校與社區的聯繫及共同協助學生成長。
